For the Sick and Homebound

There are many ways in which the Church participates in the healing ministry of Jesus Christ! They include and are not limited to:

• visiting those who are sick or isolated from the community,

• bringing Holy Communion and the support of the Church to those who can't attend Mass,

• offering the Sacraments of Penance and Anointing of the Sick as needed,

• praying for deliverance and healing from afflictions,

• renouncing sin and praying against evil influences (including evil spirits),

• listening, conferring blessings, and giving encouragement.
