Ways to support our parish financially:The primary way to support Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish financially is through our OFFERTORY, which is
our regular collection for the parish at Sunday Masses plus online donations and household donation envelopes received at our office. The GRAND ANNUAL is a collection requested by mail once or twice each year to supplement our offertory (helping us to balance our budget). Occasional SPECIAL PARISH COLLECTIONS raise money for particular needs such as maintenance, religious education, and helping the poor. We also have regularly-occurring SOCIAL EVENTS that boost our income through raffles, ticket sales, and other donations.
While weekly giving is encouraged, you may also choose to give monthly, quarterly, intermittently, or however often you wish.
Our parish is also sustained by GIFTS AND BEQUESTS, which are one-time donations of money or other assets. Please consider including Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in your will, listing us as a beneficiary in your financial accounts, or arranging a gift of stocks or other equities for the benefit of our faith community!
However you choose to give, and no matter how often you are able to give, we are most grateful for your support! Your donations support the growth of our mission in our area, fund our operations and maintain our properties, and support our parish school (Lawrence Catholic Academy) and our many ministries. Second Collections and other non-parish collections:Occasionally, additional collections are taken up by all parishes in the Archdiocese of Boston to support the needs of the Church outside our own local community. These include disaster relief and missionary appeals, contributing to the healthcare of senior priests and retired religious sisters, and supporting our local seminaries and poor dioceses in the Americas. As with our parish offertory, you may give to these collections at Sunday Mass, at our office, through the mail, or online by clicking on the button below:

Support the Archdiocese of Boston
through the annual Catholic AppealEvery year, starting in Lent, the Archbishop of Boston asks parishes to help fund the central ministries of the Archdiocese. These are essential ministries and professional services that are available to parishes and parishioners at little to no cost to them. Your donations to the Catholic Appeal ensure that these ministries and services can continue to be offered to everyone regardless of their financial means. (Please fulfill your pledges to give to the current Appeal by January at the latest.)
